Ontario Securities Fee welcomes new chair

Cowan takes over as OSC chair from Heather Zordel, who resigned from the position after just seven months on the job.

Cowan is an govt within the monetary companies business in addition to a lawyer with over 30 years of expertise in operational, regulatory, and coverage issues particular to the capital markets.

He served as the previous chief govt officer of the Capital Markets Authority Implementation Group; the previous president of TSX Markets, which oversees all TSX inventory exchanges; and the previous president of the TSX Enterprise Change.
